My journey to Merivis was a personal one, and I’d like to share it with you.

I grew up on the south side of San Antonio, where opportunities for someone like me were few and far between. Joining the United States Air Force was the first time I truly knew what opportunity was. My military career taught me the values of structure and community-and helped me discover a family that supported me unconditionally. These values have followed me throughout my civilian career as well. From my time at UT and Texas State, to my first time working with the Salesforce platform in 2007, to the companies where I’ve seen cloud technology grow businesses in amazing new ways.

With that growth came challenges. As a hiring manager, I recognized a growing Salesforce talent gap that veterans could be trained and hired to fill. The bridge to that gap would be Merivis.

The name Merivis comes from the Latin roots of Merit and Force, a nod to both the military and business communities we serve. The organization has grown into a nationwide community with a vision to open the world of cloud technology through job training, mentorship and placement for veterans everywhere. Our passion is to add people like you, who share our family mentality—people with the character, dedication and talent to transform their lives and enrich the lives of our fellow veterans on this journey together.
